Where Do The Fit Food Tasty Team Get Our Recipes From?

Conner Here, Founder at Fit Food Tasty. I often get asked how do we come up with so many meals? As well as adding fresh ones to the menu so regularly.

We have amassed a giant portfolio of nutritious & delicious recipes. But where do we come up with meals for our meal prep?

Any cuisine is fair game! We have the finest dishes from all over the world, and we don’t discriminate food based on where it originated. If it tastes good, then it’s welcome – and if it has nasty ingredients we will find healthy substitutes!

Having travelled to more than 40 countries across the world. Eaten at thousands of great restaurants, I’ve picked my favourites and brought it to the Fit Food Tasty kitchen for testing.

Once we have a meal we think could work we put it through our three part Fit Food Tasty Test.

1. Does it taste amazing? We pride ourselves on delicious food, it needs to get the seal of approval from every member of the team. Making sure it is something they would eat daily.

2. Does it have good nutrition?

We don’t just aim for amazing taste. We ensure our meals are calorie-controlled, rich in protein, and that packed with nutrients to enhance your healthy lifestyle.

3. This is the big one. If it passes the first two tests we cook up a batch and chuck it in the fridge. We do this so we can ensure that it maintains the amazing flavour and texture a few days later from the microwave.

If a meal passes the taste test, the nutrition test, and the reheating test, then we have a winner.

We add it to the menu and we’ll await the all-important customer feedback.

We constantly try and create new meals to the menu but we all know that feeling of staring at a menu with too much choice!
So something has to go!

We simply look at what’s least popular at the moment and remove that.
This allows us to keep the best sellers permanently on the menu, while still keeping things fresh and full of variety.

And that’s pretty much it.

Time to get back to testing some recipes! Let us know in the comments if there are any meals you’d love us to add to the menu!
